Matara මාතර Nadee's Food Trail

As a drifter, I seek on my feet and my tongue. Matara is one of those places where one must fully immerse themselves taste buds first. As a fishing town, the local delicacies include Ambulthiyal or sour fish and Jaadi both prepared in such a way as to preserve them naturally. In addition, try the Mango curry that pairs fabulously with the fish and the island-famous ‘Rathu Bath’ or red rice.
