iPlay Buak Hard Park

A relaxing afternoon stroll

Carriage parking lot

This beautiful park was once a parking lot for animals and carriages. This is where the drivers would bathe their animals after a long journey. In 1962, the local government turned the pond into Buak Hard Park, now a popular place for jogging, meeting a friend or a relaxing stroll.

The gate of bad luck

There are five gates in Chiang Mai old city. People believe that the Southern Gate brings bad luck, in the past corpses were transported out of the city through this gate.

Nice to know

Along Arak Road is the oldest pets and plants marketplace in Chiang Mai. Here you can find anything reptiles, fish, hamsters, dogs and cats. You can also enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the garden café. We recommend their blueberry cake (THB60).
