Police headquarters
This huge compound has been the headquarters of the Surabaya police force since 1850. The grand entrance with iron gates and manicured lawns was originally called Paradeplein (parade square).
Crime scene museum
The on-site museum is not very popular; few Indonesians would voluntarily visit police headquarters. But it makes for an entertaining visit. You will find some interesting displays of what police officers encounter at crime scenes. CSI Tempo Doeloe!
Secret tunnel
In the compound, there are an underground tunnels connecting to Gedung PTPN and Kalisosok prison.
