Hidden in a small alley off the busy Jl. Rajawali, this gallery holds more surprises than what you would guess from the outside.
This 200-year-old workshop gives a unique insight into the production of teak furniture. The huge ‘made to order’ collection sits happily alongside real antique pieces. Owner Pak Memet Said supplies hotels all over the country, as an avid collector he is very proud to share his passion for craftsmanship with visitors.
Madura style has bold carvings, Javanese style is more finely structured and Chinese style is the most elaborately carved.
