Chinese bun dumplings
This is a humble but very popular local breakfast joint. People queue here early morning for Chinese style bun dumplings. On offer are five flavours: pork, sweet, taro, red bean and black sesame all made from locally sourced ingredients. Ms. Ong (Suree Sumetphan) says ‘The soft texture of the bun and chewy filling is what makes people come back’.
Come early or sold out
This is typical family run business with limited production capacity. Miss Ong makes ‘only’ 500-600 pieces of bun dumplings each day. Come early because they usually sell out by 9am.
Our favourite filling is ground pork and Thai style sausage. It’s been the shop’s signature dish for generations. A package of two costs THB18.
