Only in Yangon you’ll find a mosque and a church right next to a pagoda. This Baptist Church is one of the oldest in Yangon, founded in 1885 by an American missionary. The original church was bombed during the war, so the bright white building that you see today ‘only’ dates back to 1952.

Sunday service is at 8:30am with own band and choir. Worshippers can get very passionate here.
