Max Cola shot to fame during the military regime, when Coca Cola, Pepsi & Co. couldn’t do business in Myanmar. Now, slowly the international brands are making their way into the country, but the affection for this home-grown brand was so strong that Coca-Cola ended up acquiring the company!
