Owned by the same people as Pansodan gallery - one of Yangon’s leading art scenes - Pansuriya brings together art, books and food. A charming, quiet and relaxed place filled with paintings, old photographs and antiques, cook and history books. The extensive menu offers excellent value Burmese food but Pansuriya also hosts arts event, book launches, poetry readings, photography exhibitions and intimate concerts.

We’re big fans of the salads: squid, aubergine and tea leave are all excellent. The mutton and fish curries are also very good and for drinks you can’t go wrong with a refreshing yoghurt smoothie.
