Sweet street

As you walk into the Kandoi Ol or the street of sweets maker, it is impossible not be tempted by the smells of saffron, ghee and dry fruits. Kandoi Bhogilal Mulchand is the oldest sweet shop of Ahmedabad. Started in 1845 by the two brothers, Bhogilal and Mulchand, who dreamed of creating traditional Indian sweets that would be at the heart of every traditional festivity. The shop became so popular that today there are six stores spread across the city and clientele across the globe. But this is the one and only original.
