Alternative space for literary lovers

Reading culture

It was 2014 when a couple of designers and teachers met here in Macao. All passionate readers and young parents they found that the city lacked a space for kids and parents to read. They decided to create a space, where kids can take off their shoes, relax, play and read. They hold regular book readings and clubs for kids and adults because they believe in the importance of reading together.

Reading philosophy

The books mostly come from Hong Kong and Taiwan, sourced from independent publishers who the owners know personally and share their philosophy. Ask the staff for their personal recommendations and specific educational messages in books, they’re happy to advice.

My children love those cute books and cats very much here.

Macao design talent

One of the owners is talented CK, who is a popular graphic designer for local books and magazines. She also drew the lovely maps you find at the shop.
