Colonial train station

Kyeemindaing Railway Station is unique. It is one of the oldest in the country. It was built in the late 1870s with the opening of the 262 km Yangon to Pyay line by The Irrawaddy Valley State Railway that revolutionised transport and spearheaded the Burmese economy. You can’t miss it, it’s a transit station so every train stops here.
