iSurprise Tung Man Street

To stock up on coal and chemicals

Chemical hub

This was once a private cobbled stone street at the shoreline, specialised in fuel, coal and other supplies for ships. Later, a little alleyway for dyes, detergents, caustic soda and other industrial chemicals.

I still remember going there to get equipment for my science class experiments!

Three stalls

Like Wing On Street, Tung Man Street was also cut off by The Center. Only three small stalls (pai dongs 排檔) remain, selling fruits, clothes, and crafts. These stalls have been around for over 70 years.
