iEat Kagemusha Japanese Home Cooking

Japanese home cooking in an idyllic setting

Japanese home cooking

Tucked away from the main road, Kagemusha offers Japanese home-style cooking in a seriously dreamy garden atmosphere. This hidden gem has a peaceful ambience surrounded by the sounds nature and the smell of home cooked food.

Where Bali meets Japan

Owner and chef, Ibu Umi, has served up her home cooked dishes for twenty-five years, and it has become the go-to restaurant for Japanese food in the area. Kagemusha feels a bit like having a meal cooked by your mom and in true homey style, no wifi here but books!

Our favourites

A popular lunchtime seller is their bento box which comes with chicken katsu, tempura, omelet, greens and rice, and miso or noodle soup (IDR 80.000).We also like the miso nikani udon (IDR 58.000) or the daily specialties they have listed on the board.
