Colours of a rainbow
These murals show Macao’s fusion of Chinese and Portuguese culture. The Rainbow House creators have matched the signage of each shop in the double-storey complex, as if forming a colourful rainbow in the downtown area.
I am a fan of murals in conjunction with specialty stores, it makes for unique spots.
A future for the past
The Rainbow House was created in line with the Macao government’s ‘Specialty Shop’ program, featuring Dança Portuguesa as one of Macao’s intangible cultural heritage. A project to inject new vitality into Macao’s old districts.
