One-stop-shop for trekking

This is your one-stop shop street that features all the trekking agencies with their offices standing side by side. From day treks, jungle treks to three-day hikes starting from Kalaw and finishing at Inle Lake, all agencies are open most days until 8 in the evening ready to take your bookings and answer questions. The trekking routes around Kalaw are unique because tourists can gain an insight into village life. Treks usually include a homestay in the Pa O or Palaung villages that surround Kalaw. There are plenty of reliable operators to choose from. Not into walking?

If you are not interested in hiking, there’s plenty of other outdoor stuff to do. Kalaw Trail Run

Make sure to come back in December, the time of the year for the annual Kalaw Trail Run in the mountains of Kalaw that covers a half marathon and 12km distance, open to all levels and all nationalities.
