Kalaw Kalaw Heritage Trail

Picturesque stone cottages with peaked roofs dot pine-clad mountains of Kalaw. The hill station has drawn people from the plains since colonial times, and they are now joined by a new generation looking for a nature-friendly lifestyle. Sikhs, Nepalese, Indians and Brits have left their mark on the local cuisine, the town’s unique architecture and the peaceful multicultural community. This is what makes Kalaw one of Myanmar’s most attractive heritage towns.
