Homage to maritime history

This colossal orange brick building stands out from the crowd in this busy port area. Its monumental dimensions give space to a restaurant, a patisserie, a bar and a ballroom. Its design is a gentle nudge to Jakarta’s maritime history: the furniture is made out of driftwood and maritime objects from across the archipelago are scattered around, all witnesses of Indonesia’s colourful and rich maritime history.

Frozen delight

The rooftop has excellent panorama views over the historic harbour. No better way to top off a hot day than with a cold beer or frosty scoop of ice cream (or two!) from the ground floor’s patisserie.

1.000 islands

The ‘thousand islands’ (actually 110 in total) idyllically lie scattered in the waters of Jakarta Bay. Try Ayer Island, Bidadari Island, Kotok Island, Putri Island, Pantara Island or Sepa Island for an excellent city escape.
