Seng Seng Thong is one of Glodok’s most famous traditional Chinese herbal medicine shops, or Chinese apotik, as locals call it. People flock here from all over Jakarta to buy dried herbs, plants, bark, animal parts and spices. These valuable goods are safely stored in an old-school medicine cabinet.
