iDrink Tai Lung Fung

Retro Hong Kong-themed neighbourhood cocktail bar

Hong Kong people still use the term Tai Lung Fung when referring to a ‘pretender.

Cocktails with a Cantonese twist

Thirsty by now? Try one of many cocktails at Tai Lung Fung, east-meets-west cocktail bar paying tribute to Hong Kong in the sixties. The menu may look like an old newspaper but displays an interesting choice of contemporary cocktails and crudités that attract a hip crowd. The name, lit up in bold pink neon letters, is a tribute to the renowned Cantonese opera group, but also is a reference to all things showy and flamboyant.

60s décor

This place will catapult you back to Hong Kong in the sixties. The bar is lit up by iconic plastic light fixtures dangle while old movie posters, old photos and stamps and yellowed newspaper clippings decorate the deliberately worn walls.

Our Pick

Try the lovely light Lemongrass-tini or surprisingly spicy Thai Express for HK$75 (happy hour HK$55).
