You’ll see Laksala souvenir shops throughout the country, but this particular gallery is worth a visit for the lovely café and wide range of traditional craft, clothes and arts. It’s also a nice place to browse gems and jewellery, without the pressure to buy. It feels almost like an extension of the museum on which grounds its located. The gallery echoes the sense of antiquity of the museum exhibits.

A little stroll

National Museum grounds make for a nice evening stroll, after which you can quench your thirst or grab a bite at the adjacent café. A cappuccino or hot chocolate at the Barista here won’t go amiss.
