Signature noodles

Koay teow is a must-try noodle dish and Kim Seng is the place to try it! Ang Ah Yee has been running this humble food stall for more than 35 years and is known for smooth textured noodles served with minced pork patties (RM 3.00). Try with a dash of the secret recipe sambal chilli sauce that comes highly recommended or add roast pork (RM 7.00 for small size) for a savoury crunchy texture.

The dry koay teow served with roasted pork is different. Its thick flavour and sambal chili make it a special dish.

Try next door

Next to Restoran Kim Seng is Restoran May Fong for a good plate of chicken rice, another local favourite. Room for dessert? More than 50 years in business, Ng Kung Seng still uses the same recipe to make soya bean milk and bean curd pudding. Try a bowl of fresh tofu with a sprinkle of brown sugar syrup (RM 1.20) at Bean Milk Trading (4291 Jl. Kampung Benggali).
