Community Stories
Asia’s historic districts are home to an eclectic mix of communities. No uniform cookie-cutter neighbourhoods, but cultural melting pots with Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Jews and Buddhists living side by side. Places of tradition and trade, of longstanding rituals and a constant state of flux. Places where old-school and hip go hand in hand, where long-time residents compete for space with newcomers. We map these diverse communities, listen to their stories and aspirations and try to give them a voice in their urban future.
